Puzzle Trio 18

52. I have 4 playing cards. They are the
Ace of Clubs, King of Hearts
Queen of Spades, Jack of Diamonds.
They are laid out in a line so that
the King is to the right of the Queen;
the Queen is to the left of the Jack;
and NO two cards of the same colour
are next to each other.
In which of the positions (1, 2, 3 or 4) is the Ace?

53. The most famous of British admirals, Horatio Nelson, was born on the 29th September 1758.

On which day of the week was he born?

54. Meeting an old friend with two young children, I asked their ages and, being a mathematician, she told me that the product of her age and each of the two children's ages gave the answer 2,450.
After a pause for thought, I said 'That gives too many possibilities. What is the sum of your three ages?'
'The same as your age' she said
That still left me with a choice but, observing that the children were clearly not twins, my original question was now answered.
How old was my friend?
