This puzzle was invented in 1934 to commemorate the birth of the Dionne quintuplets in Canada.
They were all girls named: Annette, Cecile, Yvonne, Marie, and Emilie, and their total birth-weight was under 14 pounds. It is pleasing to record that they all lived to become adults.
